Education and Training:

  • Fourth-year doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology, Fairleigh Dickinson University
  • MA in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, John Jay College of Criminal Justice
  • BA in Psychology, Ramapo College of New Jersey
  • Licensed mental health counselor

Expertise: Elena’s work integrates research on emotional awareness and regulation, particularly alexithymia and emotional granularity. She also provides clinical therapy to young adults and is actively involved in teaching and supervising graduate trainees. 

Personal Interests: Outside of her professional roles, Elena enjoys Pilates and spending time with her two dogs, Midnight and Maverick.
